FATAL GUN ACCIDENTS.
[BY TttLJCGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Napier, Monday. A fatal gun accident happened in the bush at the back of Makaretu on Friday. A young man named Ole Tostensen was out shooting with hit brother when they eat on a log to rest. O'e's gun had the hammers down. It slipped, and the hammers striking the ground the gun went off, the charge going right through his body. He died in ten minutes. A verdict of accidental death was returned.
New Plymouth, Monday. A young man named Grey Praser was out shooting hares at Karaka, near Waitara, with a Maori, when the latter fired at an animal just as Fraser was coming out of the bush where a hare was seen. The charge went full into Fraser's chesb. Fraser is in a precarious condition.
