CHARITABLE BEQUEST.
[BY TKLKORAPH. —FKKfIH ASSOCIATION.] Christchdrch, Sunday. Mr. Hyman Marks, who died on Wednesday, has left among other bequests £5000 for the establishment) of a ward at the hospital, to be called " The Hyman Marks' Ward" ; the sum of £5000 to be invested, and the interest applied to the destitute'patients' relief fund ; the sum of £2000 to be in vested, and the interest to be applied to the relief of the deserving poor residing in the Canterbury district ; £500 to the trustees of the Christchurch Jewish congregation.
