MEETING OF TENANT FARMERS.
[bi TELEGRAPH.— PRESS association.] Timarct, Saturday. A well-attended meeting of tenant farmers, lessees of local and other bodies, was held this afternoon. Resolutions were passed urging on the Government the advisability of passing tho Harbours and Education Reserves Bill, and the Fair Rent Bill. Tho meeting was unanimous in urging that landlords and tenants should ' be put on an equal footing.
