DEATH UNDER CHLOROFORM.
[BY telegraph.-— press association.] Wanganci, Thursday. A sad death occurred this afternoon. A young woman, Janet Hill, about 21 years of age, went to Brookfield's, dentist, to have some teeth extracted, and was put under chloroform by Dr. Innea, all • the usual precautions being taken. Shortly after she went under the influence of the drug, strange symptoms were noticed, and efforts were at once made to bring her round. She rallied slightly, but sank again and died. An inquest will be held.
