The Canterbury Progressive Liberal Association have received a reply from the Premier to a resolution regarding the establishment in Christchurch of a School of Domestic Instruction. Mr. Seddon says the resolution has been forwarded to the Minister of Education, and adds that the movement has his entire sympathy. He thinks it a%jp in the right direction in fact, in his opinion, teohnical education is neglected in the colony to a great extent, while higher education receives the utmost attention. ■',
