At Sydney Tattersall's Meeting held to-day at Randwick the following was the result of the principal event :— Tattersall's Club Cup; a handicap of 700sovs; second horse, 70sovs; third horse, 30sovs. Two miles. THE WHANGAREI RACES. The Whangarei Turf Club were unfortunate in having very wet weather for the races on Friday and Saturday last, but luckily it was fair overhead during the two afternoons, except for one or two small showers. The course was, however, a perfect sea of mud, yet, notwithstanding the bad weather, the races were well contested in most cases. The number of people present was not so large as might have been expected, only about 500 or 600 being in attendance on each day. The following are the results of the various events :— FIRST DAT.
