The National of New Zealand holds a lind £1200 on one vessel (the Trio), but £900 of the amount is re-ins ured. LEAD POISONING. Sydney, October 5. ■ Regulations regarding lead poisoning have been presented to the Legislative Assembly. They are the first of the kind issued in Australia, and prohibit women and boys under 14 years of age working in lead mines. Provision is also made for the proper ventilating of mines, for a good supply of water, and other sanitary measures in connection with snch works. THE PRINTING TRADE. Sydney, October 8.
