A meeting of shareholders in the Progress Licensed Holding was held yesterday ab the office of Mr. P. A. White. Mr. Seymour Thome George presided, and there were represented 21,000 shares oub of 50,000. Mr. Power said he understood two men had been working continuously in the mine, and would expect their wages. One, he had heard, had pub a lien on the mine. Mr. J. Jackson moved bhab the shareholders form themselves into a company under the no liability section of the Mining Company's Act, 1886. Mr. Phillips moved that tho formation be postponed for one month until the results of the Grace Darling crushing were ascertained, , and that the present shareholders in the syndicate be responsible for the necessary expenses to this period.
