NATIVE MEETING AT PAERO A.
[BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] Paeroa, Monday. The outcome of the late native difficulty is an immense meeting, or korero, which will be held at Paeroa in about ten days, and in which the leading Coromandel, Thames, Tauranga, and Piako chiefs will take part. A large quantity of food is being purchased, but no drink is to be allowed. Taipari, of the Thames, is the chief mover, and Tawhiao is expected to attend if well enough.
