ALLEGED UNSKILFUL TRE ATMENT.
ACTION AGAINST A DOCTOR. [by telegraph.—press association.] Wkstport, Saturday. The District Court jury returned a threefourths verdict of £250 for the plaintiff in the action Ferguson v. Wright, a claim for £500 damages, for unskilful and negligent treatment of the plaintiff by the defendant, a medical man. Defendant's counsel was granted leave to move for a new trial and change of venue, the grounds being that the verdict was against the weight of evidence, and the misconduct of the jury. Great local interest was taken in the case, which concluded at nine p m. on Saturday.
