The Victorian Government send three representatives to the Ottawa Conference, namely, Sir H. Wrixon, Messrs. Fraser and Fitzgerald. Dunedin, Friday. Frederick Marryatt, a clerk in the Customs here, was charged at the Police Court to-day with the embezzlement of £12 8s Bd, anil was remanded till Tuesday on bail. The directors of the Mutual Agency Company have declared an interim dividend at fcho rate of 8 per cent, per annum for the half-year. - At a meeting of the Kaitangata Relief Fund Committee it was decided to grant £1 per week to a woman whose husband was killed while working in the coal mine at ICurou, !North Otago. , CiibiBTCHDRC«, Fridav.
