COLONIAL MUTUAL LIFE ASSOCIATION.

The report presented at the annual meeting of the Colonial Mutual Life Association held in Melbourne yesterday, showed new business amounting to £913,05.}, while tho total funds now exceed £1,600,000. Since the initiation of the Society, its new business has amounted to over twenty millions. ___ The new business transacted from the inception of the company amounts to a grand total of over twenty millions sterling, and for the periods just ended is well up to the average. The funds of the Society have been increased to over £1,600,000. It must be with pleasant feelings that the large number who are interested in this Society will learn that in spite of the dull times prevailing over tho whole of the colonies the Colonial Mutual is able to hold its own and continue bo steadily progress.
