SELLING DRINK TO A CHILD.
[Br TELEGRAPH.— association.] Ddnedin, Thursday. At the Police Court to-day Mrs. Paterson, licensee of an hotel in South Dunedin, was charged with supplying liquor to a child under 13. Tho child, it appears, had on a previous occasion told her he was 13, and she said she believed it. Tho defonce was also raised that the clause specified liquors, and while beer was a liquor it could not be termed liquors. The decision was reserved.
