BANKRUPTCY.
An' adjourned meeting of the creditors of James Whitelaw, of Kamo, was held at the office of the Official Assignee yesterday afternoon, Mr. Hould, in the absence of the Official Assignee, presiding. In addition to the debtor and hut solicitor (Mr. Hugh Campbell) there were about twenty creditors present. After some discussion, it was decided, on the motion of Mr. Tewsley, seconded bv Mr. McMillan, " That tenders be called for the book debts at Kamo, Opanga, and Pipiwai, in one or more lots, returnable in one month from date, separate schedules to be prepared. The following resolutions were also agreed to:—"(1) That the Official Assignee be authorised to execute the orders up to date, and until tenders close in the estate; (2) that a sub-committee, consisting of Messrs. McMillan. Denniston, L. D. Nathan, and Tewslay, be appointed to advise with the Assignee as to the disposal of the properties and the management of the estate.
