» A young man named John Hayes appeared ab the Police Court yesterday morning to answer a charge of having left his carb unattended on the wharf. He pleaded guilty to the charge, bub contended in palliation of the offence that he was but following bhe usual cussom which had prevailed on the wharf for the past two or bhree years. Mr. H.
