[BY TELEGRAPH. — OWN CORRESPONDENT.] '> '•; Wellington, Monday. MINISTERIAL .MOVEMENTS. The Hon. Mr. Ward (Colonial Treasurer),* and the Hon. Mr. Reeves (Minister for Labour), returned to Wellington yesterday from the South. THE NEW RAILWAY COMMISSIONERS. The Hon. Mr. Larnach writes to the Obago newspapers denying that he had ever had any communication with the Government relative to the Railway Commissioners, or that the Government had communicated with him on the subjecb, and that the rumour to the effect that he was to be appointed to such an office was altogether "without foundation. OYSTKR FARMS. I understand that correspondence has been going on between tho secretary of the Wellington Acclimatisation Society and Mr. J. J, Armistead, the well-known expert in pisciculture, of Dumfries. From the papers placed at my disposal I learn that the shores of the North Island are specially suitable for oyster breeding on a large scale. DAIRY PRODUCE. Mr. S. Lowe, dairy expert, has been appointed examiner of dairy produce from this colony in London. The appointment appears to have given great satisfaction to consignees and others interested in the London market.
