London, January 5. The 1 Westminster Gazette, commenting on the Speight-Syme case, says the Age is the one real force in Victorian journalism, and that the verdict is practically one of acquittal. A striking feature of the trial in this case, says the Gazette, is the ruinous expense of litigation. ____________
