Thk residents of Birkenhead and surrounding districts, who are now suffering so much inconvenience through tho reccft landslip, have decided to temporarily ova-come tho difficulty by taking the matter Into their own hands, and under tho supervision of the Mayor and Council intend to hold a gigantic working-bee," with lie object of forming a temporary road to meet immediate wants.
