THE NEW ZEALAND CUP.
Very little business is being transacted on the big events of the Spring. In Auckland St. Hippo is a strong favourite for the New Zealand Cup at 8 to 1; but judging from papers to hand Mr. Nathan's colt is not nearly so hard in price in the South. The following are the quotations on oner in Auckland :—
