London, August 1. The attendance at the cricket match, to-day, was very large. The weather was fine and the ground in excellent condition. The Australians have lost 8 wickets for 805 runs. Bruce was dismissed after 91. Tremble scored 105, and Tanner and Walter Giffen are both not out with 5G and 40 rv spectively. Bunnerman was at the wicketS for six hours, and in the latter part of the innings only gave one chance. His score included 14 fours and S threes. Graham played somewhat recklessly, but his partnership with Bannerman added 136 runs. Bruce hit brilliantly, but gave some chances. He had 23 fours to his credit. Trumble knocked the bowling all over the field, and he scored 12 boundary hits. Turner and W. Giffen both punished the worn-out bowling, and just on the stroke of time for drawing the 'stumps for the day, they had raised the score to 805 for 8 wickets, thus beating the world's record. Ten bowlers were tried to-day, and 38 changes marie. The bowling of Bainbridge and Wilson yielded .000 runs in six hours, which is the highest aggregate for the tour.
