On the death of his mother, Lord Howard de Walden, who figured recently in a very scandalous divorce case, will come into the London Portland estates, which are worth about £150,000 a year. The New Hebrides Relief Committee desire to acknowledge receipt of £11 from Te Awamutu friends, through Rev. Mr. McDonald (per Rev. G. B. Monro), which, with the £6 acknowledged yesterday, makes the total from that district £17. The sum collected to date is £278.
