The meeting refused to allow the company to be bracketed as plaintiffs with Mr. Jellicoe in the action brought by him against the directors. The resolution proposed by Mr. Russell objecting to the managing director being a Minister of the Crown was negatived by a large majority. Mr. Russell explained that the resolution was not aimed at Hon. W. P. Reeves personally. The meeting was practically unanimous, although no proxies were used.
