POISONED BY CARBOLIC ACID.
[BY TELHaKAPH. — PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Invkkcaruill, Wednesday. A gentliman out shooting this afternoon in the Waikiwi bush found the body of a man named Daniel Murray, aged 24 years. Beside him was a bottle containing carbolic acid, another nearly full of chlorodyne, and a third with the odour of scent, but empty. Death was caused by carbolic acid. Murray was a single man, residing with his parents, and had been weak-minded for time. Ho was last seen alive yesterday afternoon. The chemist who supplied the acid says that it was not sold to Murray.
