The police have discovered the parents of one oi the murdered children. Mackin's gh ters have been arrested for complicity in the murder of the children. The bodies had apparently been buried two months. WEST AUSTRALIAN PARLIAMENT. Perth, November 4 Parliament was opened yesterday. The Speech from the Throne referred to the finances of the colony as being in a satisfactory condition. During the session the constitution would be amended to provide for the extension of the franchise, and it was proposed to increase the number of members of the Legislative Council by two, and of the House by three. In order to meet the contingency of an unfavourable loan being placed on the market, the Government would ask power to raise money temporarily by means of Treasury bills if necessary. In the Equity Court in the case Jones, of Wellington, v Nicholson, music seller, for an injunction restraining the sale of the music of a " Barn Dance," the Judge held that the New Zealand law did not provide registration of copyright within thfl meaning of the International Copyright Act, and that only the registration at Stationers Hall gave the plainI tiff the right to sue in this Court.
