The Secretary Auckland Gas Company, Limited.—We beg to advise you that we received the lughest award for any gas engine shown at the Crystal Palace Electrical Exhibition. There were ten different makes of engines exhibited, seven of which received silver medal-, and'two received bronze medals. : We are the only firm of gas engine makers who received the high award of the, "Diploma of Honour" The committee included; such names as ProSfr' Brookes,, Perry, Robinson, Silvanus Thompson, Unwin.Mr. Preece, etc., who are among the leading ; scientists of this country. ■ We think that their i opinion as to which is the best gas engine in the market is ot considerable vaIue.—UKOSSLET Bkchchbrs Limited. :^: '..;^; ; .
