THE CARMAUX STRIKE.
Press Association.— Telegraph.—Copyright, Paris, November 3. The Carmaux strikers assert that they only resumed work on the pledge of M. Clemenceau that those convicted of riotous behaviour would be pardoned. The Government have now granted pardon to those taking part in the strike. .
