A man named Makin and his wife have been arrested on suspicion of having caused the death of seven infants, whose bodies were found buried in the backyard of their premises at Macdonald Towd, a suburban municipal district situated between Newtown and Alexandria, about two miles south of the metropolis. Warrants have also been issued for the arrest of two daughters of the accused on a charge of participation in the crime.
