New York, July 13. The press states that the union miners in Idaho sent a car loaded with Giant Powder down a sharp incline against the walls of the works, causing an explosion, which destroyed all the nonunionists.

The perpetrators have yielded to the militia, and the Federal troops have been despatched to the scene to assist in maintaining order. The troops have effected peaceful occupation of Carnegie's works. Washington, July 13. Armed miners in Idaho have seized a hundred non-unionists.

The president has given orders to reinforce the troops in the district.
