The Live Stock Journal having published a paragraph in regard to a ewe having had five lambs at a birth, a correspondent sent the following : — A ewe belonging to Mr. Thomas Pedlingham, Stone Farm, Colwall, Malvern, on April 1 gave birth to six lambs, all alive ; two having since died, the remaining four are nice healthy lambs, being reared by the ewe. I can answer to this, having seen them. This surely beats all the other rccords of prolific ewes for the past lambing season.
