LORD GLASGOW.
ARRIVAL AT ADELAIDE. Frets Association.— Telegraph.—Copyright. Adelaide, May 18. Lord Glasgow arrived here to day. He was received by Lord Kintore, Governor of South Australia, arid will stay at Government House to-night Lord Glasgow was received with a salute of 19 guns from the gunboat Protector. The bluejackets formed a guard of honour on his arrival at Larg'3 Jetty, and he was taken in a State carriage to the speoial train at the City Station, where a detachment of th e Permanent Artillery formed a guard of honour. The new Governor of New Zealand was received by the Earl of Kintore, the Hon. C. C. Kingston, Mayor of the City, and a tremendous crowd of people. He remains in Adelaide till Friday.
