Arrived : Onyx, barque, from Newcastle. Sailed : Wakatipu, s.s., for the South. Passengers : Miss Pearson, Meadames Pearson, Rudd, Melrous, Messrs. Williams, Andrew, Woodhouse, Cowie, Derry, McGowan. Australia, s.s., for Auckland, via East Coast. Passengers : Misses Gardiner, Groghan, Mrs. Groghan, and 28 in the steerage, John Bell, schooner, for Waitapu. LYTTELTON. May 18.Sailed : Takapuna, s.s., for Wellington. Passengers: — For Wellington: Misa Leggatt, Mesdames Wilson, Montgomery, Messrs. May 13.—Sailed : Pendle Hill, barque, for Nftl 16r ' RIO DE JANEIRO. May 14.— R.M.s. Ruahine sailed today for Plymouth. Her cargo of frozen meat was reported to be in good condition. THE RIMUTAKA. Wellington', May 18.— s.s. Rimutaka has arrived from Loudon. Her dates are—London, April 1 : Teneriffe, 7th ; Cape 23rd ; and she left Hobart at 6.20 p.m. on the ' 13th instant. Moderate weather was experienced. The time on the voyage was 44 ays 19 hours, the actual steaming 43 days 11 hours. She has 58 passengers of all classes for New Zealand ports. Passengers for Auckland Saloon : Mrs. and Miss Grogham. Second saloon : Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Weston, Messrs. H. H. Massey, and F. H. Fell.
