THE BRUCE ELECTION.
ADDRESS BY MR. ALLEN. [by telegraph.— PßESS ASSOCIATION.] Dunedin, Friday. Mk. James Allen* addressed the electors of Bruce, at Milton, last night. He an nounced that of course ho would be found on the Opposition side of the House, but lie would support any measure he thought to be for the public good when the question was not a party one. A vote of thanks and confidence was carried unanimously, and the wish expressed by the mover that the district would not be invaded by other speakers, but that the candidates should be allowed to fight the matter out themselves.
