O'Brien on behalf ot T. Corrigan the wellknown cross-country horseman of Victoria. Horse-owners are reminded that nominations for the Hurdle Race, September Handicap, Steeplechase, and Flying Handicap, to be run at the A.R.C. First Spring Meeting, are due to-morrow. ' A correspondent, "Investor," desires the publication of tho Auckland Harbour Board Bill, which has recently passed through Parliament. He thinks it would be of some interest to know in what form it was finally passed. We may say that it has passed in the form in which it was submitted by the Board. For " Investor's" information, we recapitulate the leading provisions of the measure The Board shall establish a sinking fund of one half cent, to redeem the debentures issued under the Auckland Harbour Board Loan Act, 1836, in lieu of the issue under the Auckland Harbour Act of 1874. The amount to be set apart to establish a sinkin" fund under the Auckland Harbour Board Act, 1874, shall be reduced, a-' the debentures under that Act are redeemed, by issue of debentures under the Auckland Harbour Board Loan Act of 1880. The Board shall appoint sinking fund commissioners, to whom it shall pay moneys set apart as a sinking fund, and the sink ing fund commissioners shall account to the Board. The annual general meeting of the Auckland Cricket Club is to be held at the Central Hotel to-night at 8 o'clock.
