Budge and Good's Report.—At our Manaia sale 011 the 18th instant, there was a very large attendance of the public, and bidding was spirited throughout, all the entries changing hands at the hammer or immediately after, with the exception of one or two pens. Considerably more stock came forward than was advertised. Six hundred and fifty cattle and 1500 sheep were yarded, realising as follows :—'6h year old bullocks, £4 16s to £4 18s ; 3-year-olds, £4 0s 6d; 2to 2h year old steers, £3 Ss 6d ; yearling to 15 months steers, £2 10s; fat and forward bullocks, from £5 133 to £6 0s ; store cows, from £3 to £3 los; 2-year-old heifers, £2 123 6d to £3; yearlings to 18 months heifers, £2 to £2 10s Cd ; fat cows, £3 9s to £4 18s ; dairy cows, £3 15 to £5. Sheep: Wethers, 15s 6d : mixed sheep, 13s lid; 185 ewes, 13s 7d; hoggets, 9s to 103 lid.

HAWERA, The Egmont Farmers' Union (Limited) Report.On Wednesday, the 19th instant, we held the. most successful sale that we have ever had at Hawera. The entries of both cattle and sheep were very large, more of the latter coming forward than were advertised, and the quality ot the stock was exceptionally good. There was a large attendance, and bidding was very keen for every line offered, so that, with one or two trifling exceptions, everything was sold under the hammer, and, in the majority of cases, at prices much in favour of vendors! We would again ask our clients to send their entries to us in good time, so that we may duly advertise same. We quote : Fat and forward bullocks, £5 10s to £5 lfis 6d ; 3£ year-old bullocks, £5 to £5 3s ; 2 to 2J- year-old steers, £3 14s to £4 10s ; 18 months to 2 years steers, £219 a 6:1 to £3 8s; yearlings to 18 months steers, £1 19s 6d to £2 190 ; fat cows, £3 16s to £4 7s; cows and calves, £4 to £4 10s; cows in calf, £3 8s Cd to £4; 2 year-old heifers, £2 15s to £3 3s Gd; 18 months heifers, £2 to £2 12s Gd.
