TnK Customs returns for the colony last amounted to £115,164 — Auckland contributing £23,096; Wellington, £24,943; Christchurch, £16,356; Dunedin, £29,644. The previous month's total was £132,526, and that for May, 1890; was The beer duty for the.colony collected last month was £4034, the'returns of the principal centres being — Auckland, £978; Wellington, £452; Christchurch, £706; Dunedin, £392. Fpr the . previous month the amount collected was £4998, and for May, 1890, £4400.
