THE POPULATION OF CAPE COLONY.

James Munro, Premier of Victoria, stating that he had been requested by the Premier of the Cape Colony to state that the census returns of that colony were complete, and gave a population of 377,000 Europeans, and 1,147,000 coloured people, making a total population of 1,524,000.
