The treasurer of the Women's Home begs to acknowledge the following gifts received in March : — Offertory, Lower Remuera, through Captain Tilly, £1; Mr. H. B. Morton, £1 Is; Mrs. Cowic, £1; Miss lennent, Mar ton, £1; Misses .Vickers, £1; Mrs. Kinder, £1; also, parcel of baby clothes from Mrs. John Haselden; box of apples from Mrs. Theet;- presents of vegetables, fruit, etc from harvest festivals at Ardmore, Ptipakura, Southern Wairoa, St.. Sepulchre's, and St. Mary's, Parnell; and large iar of pickled cabbage from, Mrs. arley, Mount Albert. Any contributions, however small, in money, clothing, or household requisites, will be thankfully received by members of the committee, Archdeacon Dudley, Rev. G. H. Preston, Mrs. Cowie, Mrs. Kenderdine, Mrs. Kinder, or by the matron, Miss Hall, May Cottage, Parnell, to whom orders for washing and needlework can be sent. The Home is dependent on voluntary contributions *vml .the work of the inmates, and additional help .is much . needed to carry it on satisfactorily.
