Wellington, April 11.—The direct R.M. steamship. louic, from London, via way ports, was moored at the wharf at seven a.m. She was to have left London on February 21st, but was detained five days owing to a dense fog on the Thames, during which all tratfic was entirely suspended on the river. She left Plymouth on February 27th, Teneritfe on March 4th,-Capetown on March 20th, and Hobart on April Bth ; the total steaming time being 42 days 1 hour 37 minutes. On March Ist, Joseph Devine. infant sou of a steerage passenger, died of bronchitis. She brittgs 47 passengers, 10 packages mails, 40 boxes parcels post, and 2000 tons cargo.
