LABOUR CONFERENCE IN VICTORIA.

Millbank leaves to-morrow for Melbourne as the representative of the Federated Seamen's Union at th» Labour Conference which is to commence at Ballarat on the 22nd instant. At this conference nearly the whole of the trades in Australasia will be represented, and it is understood that its purpose is to reorganise Unionism. A scheme for the federation of all colonial trades unions will be brought up and discussed. It is estimated that somewhere about a quarter of a million of men will be represented at the conference. While in Australia Mr. Millbank will also attend as representative of New Zealand, a Conference of Seamen which' is to be held in Melbourne.
