The committee of management of the Launceston Exhibition, which takes place towards the end of the year, intend to push it. They have, we understand, given a commission to Mr. AILn Tracy, of this city, to visit the various districts of New Zealand in the interest of the exhibition, and lie left yesterday by the s.s. Waihora for the South in fulfilment of his mission. He then proceeds to Launceston, and on to London, where he will also fulfil similar duty.
