STATE BANK AND VILLAGE SETTLEMENT.
[BY TELEGRAPH. ASSOCIATION. Chiustchckch, Tuesday. The Hon. G. W. Cotton, of South Australia, addressed a well attended meeting at the Trades Hall to-night on the State bank and land questions. Ho strongly advocated the establishment of a State bank of issue, and the repurchase of land in order to make small blocks for village settlements.
