BLvKE.—On January 10, at Drury, after a lingering and painful illness, Jane, relict of the late William Blake, aged 00 years. BROOM HALL.—On January 16, at his residence, Buivott, .Mount Eden Road, Andrew Bancroft, youngest son of John Brootnhall, Ksq., J.P., Surbiton, -Surrey, England, and dearly beloved husband of Catherine Elizabeth Broomhall, in his 32nd year. COGAN —On January 20, at his residence, Otahuhu, Philip Cogan, aged 46 years. DUNN. —At 49, Silver Row, Falkirk, on the 15tli November, Isabella Berry, aged 85, widow of the 'late Robert Dunn, Lock 10, Stirlingshire, Scotland. DUTIIIE.—On January 10, at the residence of her son, Avon-street, after a long and painful illness, borne with patience and fortitude, Catherine Duthie, the devoted wife of Alexander Duthie, of this city, aged 54. EL<iAR.—At the residence of her son, Dr. Girdler, Ivyber Pass, on January 5, Alice Sarah Elgar, aged 72 years. FOSTER.— January 21, George Hector Kingsbury, son of Erasmus Robert and Ellen Anna Foster, aged 11 years, accidentally drowned in the Auckland Harbour. GALT.On December 31, at the residence of Mr. Hamilton, Kyber Pass Road, after a long and painful illness, David Gait, aged 77 years. GARDNER.—At Glorit, K lipara, on December 8, Margaret Gardner, widow of the late John Gardner ; aged 83. HANNKEN. —On January 9, Martin Frederick Hannken, aged 38 years. MATIIKSON.—On the 13th January, at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. D. Finlavson, Central Waipu, Isabella, relict of Ewen Matheson, late of Baddeck, Cape Breton, and mother of the late Captains Duncan and Angus -Matheson, of Omaha ; aged 90 years. McFARLAND.— January 12, at the Hospital, John Henry McFarland, late of the Bank of New Zealand, aged 37 years. McGILL.—On January 20, at Pokeno, Gilbert (Gibbie), son of John and Lillias McGill, aged 35 years. Bedridden for 11 years. Mc.MAHON. —At his late residence, Queen-street, Onebur.ga, Andrew McMahon, late Colour and Pay Sergeant of the 21st Regiment; aged 83 years. Deeply regretted. MILLS. the 20th January, of convulsions, suddenly, after ten hours' illness, Ruby Adelina Mind Mills, youngest and dearly beloved daughter of Samuel and Annie Moody Mills ; aged 12 months and 20 days. QU KENAN.—On January 16, at the residence of Captain Mincliani, Waketield-street, Francis Orinsby, son of Sir Michael Ormsby, Hazelwootl Hall, County Sligo, Ireland, aged 93 years. SALISBURY.—On January 21, at the residence of her father, Puni, after a short and painful illness, Ann, only daughter of William and Ann Salisbury, aged 2 ! years. Her end was peace.
