PROPOSED REGATTA AT THAMES.
[r.Y TKLKGUAVH. —OWN UORUKSPONDENT.J Thames, Sunday. A meeting of persons desirous of hav : ng a regatta was held last evening at the Royal Hotel, Captain Bayldon in the chair. It was unanimously decided, to hold a regatta on St. Patrick's Day, the tide being suitable for that date, and those present formed themselves into a committee for canvassing the district for funds in furtherance of the object.
Imitation is the sincerest flattery. Anybody may try to imitate the mode of bringing Arthur Nathan's Reliable Packet Teas before the public, but they require knowledge and skill to produce. '2s and 2s 6d per lb. Fit for kings. 28
