WOOL FROM GALATEA.

[BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] Rotorua, Saturday. The arrival yesterday of waggons loaded with wool was something unique in the history of Rotorua. The wool is from Mr. Troutbech's station at Galatea, and is the first lot that has passed this way. There are altogether 150 bales awaiting despatch. Mr. I.'nutrias has secured the contract for carting, and has arranged to carry the wool via Tauranga, thence by steamer to Auckland. The road from Galatea to Waiotapu has just been formed, at Mr. Troutbeck's own expense, for the purpose of getting his produce away. Representations have frequently been made to the (Government to have the road made, which they have long promised, but up to the present have done nothing towards carrying out their promise.
