EMPLOYMENT OF CONVICT LABOUR
[by TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Wellington, Monday. Thk Government have under consideration the question of employing convict labour in the construction of a road from Milford Sound to the Sutherland Falls. If it is decided to carry out the project, the Government will have constructed a number of portable houses for the accommodation of convicts and warders.
