WEST END ROWING CLUB.
The annual meeting of the West End Rowing Club was held in the Ponsonby Club Hotel last night. There was a full attendance of members. The balance-sheet, laid before the meeting and adopted, showed that the receipts for the year amounted to £129 (is. Tkl, and the expenditure £124 18s sd, leaving a balance in hand of £4 18s. The rules and by-laws were then discussed and adopted, after which the following officers were elected: —President, Mr. Thomas Peacock, M.H.R.; vice-presidents, Messrs. Farquhar, Devore, and Swanson ; captain, Mr. F. M. Edwards; deputy captain, Mr. S. Hanna ; secretary, Mr. Gentles ; treasurer, Mr. Baxter; selection committee, Messrs. Edwards, Baxter, and Dowden; general committee, Messrs. Clark, McGregor, Baxter, McLean, and Anderson; auditors, Messrs. Parr and Sneddon.
