For New Plymouth and Southern Ports, per Galrloch, at 11 a.m. Per Mariposa, as follows : for Samoa, Sandwich Island*. United Stat** o( America, Canada, British Coluratra, Central and South America, British and Foreign West indies, at 1 p.m. For United Kingdom and Continent of .Europe, at 1 p. in. Fur money orders, registered letters, and newspapers, at 11.30 a.m. Late letters, bearing an extra lee of Cd in Addition to the postage, may be posted in the late letter box on board the steamer up to the time of sailing. Mail will he due in London October 13 For Matakana, per Maori, at 5 p.m. For Whitianga, tiuin Town, Kuaotunu, Tauranga, and Opotiki, per lona, at 5.30 p.m. For Russell, Kawakawa, Ilawene, Whangaroa, and Mangonui, per Clansman, at 5.30 p.m. NR.— the present the following alterations will take place in the despatch and receipt of mails to and from offices served by the Waikato and Kaipara Railway lines from Saturday, oth instant, inclusive: — , , The mails from Auckland to Huntly closed daily at 7 p.m., and received at C.40 a.m., will be discontinued. , , , On Wednesdays and Thursdays the mails from Auckland to Te Awainutu and aide branches usually closed at 5.30 a.m. and received at 2.35 p.m., will be discontinued. ... On Tuesdays and Thursdays the mails from Auckland to Uelensvllle closed at C a.m. For Ilelensvillc at 10.30 a.m., and for Avondale and Heleusville at 3.30 p.m., and mails usually received from the same offices at 9.15 a.m., 3.35 p.m., and C.4 p.m. on same days, will be discontinued.
