RENEWED RIOTING. London, July 9. The policemen who have been dismissed complain they were deserted by their comrades, and insist on being reinstated. Renewed rioting occurred in Bowstreet to-day, and sixteen arrests were effected. Attempts were made to rescue the prisoners, which resulted in the rioters being batoned.and some amount of bloodshed. The military were held in readiness, but were not called out. It, is asserted that the discontent is confined to the young men of the city police force.
