THE DISPUTE AT THE KAIAPOI FACTORY.

In response to an advertisement that the facbory would re-open, a majority of the ' strikers returned to the Kaiapoi Factor) , , this morning, only to be told that on account of two foremen being away, only part of the hands would be re-employed. The strikers refused to return to work unless all were employed. After some discussion it \ was arranged that all hands should resume work on Monday. Chrtstchuroh, Sunday. A deputation from the Tailors Union met the directors of the Kaiapoi Factory Company yesterday morning with reference to bhe logs, certain items of which were nob agreed to by the Union.
