THE MAORI FOOTBALLERS.
[BY TELKGRAT'K. —PKKKS ASSOCIATION".] Invercargill, Monday. The Native Footballers, who arrived per Rotomahana on Sunday night, did not come up to town till this afternoon. They were received with cheers at the station. The strength of the team is reduced by eight men, four having returned to business and four having been suspended. The men look well and fit. Lee, the Riverton man, goes North with the team, and will probably settle in Wellington. He is a general favourite by reason of his consistent play and good conduct when off the field. A. Rodgers, the threequarter i" the local team for Wednesday's match, has made way for Robert Galbraibh, who will play in hie stead.
